Now just why has there been so little knitting going on here at the blue blog in the last few weeks?! Didn't there used to be some pretty impressive speed knitting and, um, finished projects to see?
Well, the jig is up: I've been working on a rather big project in the background, which I haven't been ready to let out of the bag until now. Here it is so far:
I'm just starting my second trimester. Baby has stopped making me sick every two hours (ain't she sweet? No, we don't know the sex yet, but the force is strong with this one, so I'm guessing girl), but I'm still pretty low on energy these days. Hey, I'm making a baby here!
So, yes, it's official - everyone is pregnant. There's no stopping this epidemic! It's even made it's way to the UK, go see!

Congratulations! I'm so happy for you! I hope it's a little girl, but boys are nice too. Take care of yourself.
YAY for Alison! I'm so excited that we can talk openly about this now instead of just to each other. xx
OMG! I can't believe it. Congratulations! I can't beleive you kept it a secret on the blog for this long.
Sigh, with the boys off to school. Now you'll have another one at home to look forward to.
And yes, everyone in the world is pregnant. (Just not me, thank goodness.)
Congratulations! I'm so sorry that you are sick! Organic frozen berries (cascade brand) worked really well for me. I ate boat loads of them...frozen.
Congratulations! I've been wondering if a third child was in your plans. I know a girl would be nice, but a houseful of boys is fun, too! Take care!
Congratulations! How awesome that she/he will have the best big brothers ever.
Congratulations!!! We thought about trying for another, but I have two hyper boys now. Don't know if I could handle another one! I'd really like to have a girl, though. It would be nice if you are having a girl, but as long as it's healthy that's the main thing!
Congratulations, momma! I bet the boys are thrilled :) I bet you're totally planning lots of little sweaters and things.
Oh congratulations! Best wishes for a safe and healthy pregnancy and birth!
Congrats! What a nice surprise! Hope you show us progress shots of the growing belly! Now that the boys are off to kindergarten (I just shipped my own boy off to kindergarten, too), you'll have lots of time to knit a new layette, right??!! :)
Take care! I'm very happy for you!
p.s. my own boy is worried his Legos will miss him. He can't wait to get home to work on his lego dinosaurs.
Congratulations! Sending happy thoughts and good non-sicky vibes your way! :)
Congrats! I'm at 16 weeks...the knitting scene in Boston is going to change dramatically this winter!
Congratulations! You must be so excited. There certainly IS a babymaking fiesta going on somewhere. Thankfully, I DON'T know about it.
CONGRATS! I will think happy pink baby thoughts for you! Oh wow... twin boys and another on the way! Congratulations!!!!
:) Kate
Oh!! I am so happy for you!
Congratulations Alison.
Your boys are going to be big brothers!
At 5/6 they will be such wonderful helpers and remember so much about their little sibling.
How exciting.
Congratulations! Wishing you a healthy pregnancy.
Woo hoo! Congratulations! Nice picture too! Already photogenic like the boys. Take care and here's hoping that your 2nd and 3rd trimester are a blast!
heehee! CONGRATS! I'm pregnant and the girl vibe is pretty overwhelming here, too. Fun stuff!
Congratulations Alison! Best wishes for a smooth sailing pregnancy.
Congratulations! I wish you all the best!
Congrats! Blessings on your pregnancy.
WOW! YAY! Congratulations!!! I'm keeping my needles crossed for you that it's a girl. Aww those boys will be such wonderful big brothers. :)
oh my goodness!!!
i feel like my own sister is pregnant, i'm so excited and happy for you!!!
oh congratulations!!!!!
Big Congratulations!! What great news!
Felicitations! That's excellent news. All the best to you and your family.
Congratulations! Best wishes to you and yours, and I hope you have some time to make some fabulous clothes for the new baby. I hope the boys had a good first day at school and that they enjoy the year.
Congratulations!! Just these days I was thinking about you having more kids and thought about maybe you are done with the twins. Happy healthy Pregnancy! (its only one this time isnt it?) :)
Wow I think all knitters with two kiddies should be careful. I'm on baby #3 too!. Congrats, I'm looking forward to those days without sickness soon = )
Hi! Delurking to wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy. I too had my second baby (in your case #3) when my oldest was in kindergarten. Your boys will have great memories and questions o'plenty!
Goodness! Congratulations!!! Take it easy on yourself, ok ^_^
Congratulations! That's wonderful news :-) I imagine the boys are absolutely thrilled.
Here's hoping that the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly!
Congratulations, Alison! What wonderful news! Are your boys super excited?!?
[squeal] Oh!!! [/squeal] How exciting! Congratulations!!!
Congratulations! What a pretty design ; ) !!!!!
Awwwww... Congratulations! That's the best project to be working on (though not always the most pleasant).
Congratulations! How exciting!
The Alison in my knitting group just had a baby. He's beautiful, and I'm sure your baby-to-be will be beautiful, too! Just look at those brothers!
Wow, how exciting! Everyone really is pregnant! Now Knitsmiths is going to be filled with babies.
Congratulations! Best wishes from across the blog world.
Congratulations! And I am hoping for a girl, as big brothers need a little sister to teach them sensitivity to all things female. Do the boys know yet? Are they excited?
Congraulations! What exciting news! So much fun baby knitting to do! So happy for you!
Just had to add my congratulations to the bunch. Such wonderful news! I LOVE seeing all these baby ultrasound photos.... makes me a little misty for another (don't tell my DH).
Congrats - great to have another knitter and blogger along for the pregger journey - I'm due in December.
Another little person to enjoy legos like their brothers. Congratulations!
Congrats Alison!
You know..this is going to sound completely freaky, but when I read your post yesterday about the boys going off to K, I just sort of thought about you expecting. I think I thought of it because that is how myself and my siblings are spaced. One would start Kindergarten and my mom would be pregnant. In fact you could count on my mom being pregnant when she dropped a child off for thier first day of K!
Wow!! That is fantastic news! The boys must be so excited! Super big congratulations!
Many congratulations! And now you will have someone else to knit for!
Congrats! Can't wait to see the FO!
CONGRATULATIONS!! I'm so excited for you!
Congrats! Am I the only one who suspected you were pregnant? So many of your recent entries mentioned your interest in pink knitting.
Woo Hoo!! I am so happy for you and your family!! Congratulations!!
Congratulations and all the best for you!
Congratulations to you and the whole family! My kids are more than 5 years apart, and it has a lot of benefits. With my first one, I always thought it was an accomplishment to take a shower before 2:00 in the afternoon. The second time around, it helped to have someone keep a watchful eye so I could get some things done while the baby was awake!
OMG, that picture makes me cry! Congratulations, Alison, I'm so so happy for you and your family!
(Is this the wrong time to ask about sockapalooza 4? LOL!)
Congratulations - it couldn't happen to a nicer mom! And just in time for kindergarten too :) Think of all the knitting possibilities, including all the cute socks!
Congrats! Now go rest, Momma.
Oh, how exciting! Congrats!
Congratulations!!!!!!!! My daughter is pregnant too - her due date is 11/24 but, since her uterus ruptured witht the last one, she'll be delivered early by C-section. This one is a girl - after 2 boys altho hers came one at a time. Her oldest is a few months younger than your boys. I'm sending very strong girl thought your way (hey it worked with my daughter - I had strong feelings with the first 2 that they would be boys & even stronger feelings with this one that it would be a girl - her mother in law also had strong feelings about all 3 & we were both right - the last baby was due on my BD but was born 2 days klater - he turned 3 yesterday & this one is due on her MiL BD). I am so happy for you - a baby on the way is such happy news.
Congrats!
Are you sure there's just one in there. 'Cause how much fun would it be to have 2 sets of twins! (Yes, tongue in cheek. I want to take a 10 hour nap just thinking about it.)
Congratulations! Looking forward to seeing the FO. :)
Are you going to post about how the boys liked their first day of kindergarten? Their little faces looked so excited & full of hope. I always worry that school takes little children who are so excited to learn & makes learning so boring & unpleasant that they end up not liking learning quite as much./
Congratulations!!
I hope you broke it to the boys a bit better than my dad did when my half sister was born, which involved shoving an ultrasound picture into my hand and saying, "That's your little sister." *grin*
Hey that is awesome, congratulations!
It's funny, as I read your yesterdays post I was tempted to recommend you a addition to your family to fight the boredom of your new lonely mornings ;o))
Happy pregnant greetings from Anja (17.week :o))
Congrats from a devoted reader who is usually a quiet lurker :)
That is so exciting -- congratulations!!! I can't wait to see what you knit for this one! :)
Congrats! There is indeed a veritable knit blog baby boom.
Wow! How cool! Big Congratulations and a Big Hug on Ya!
Congratulations! Take care! Just think, only one this time! Wishing you all the best!
Congratulations! Wonderful news :o)
Take care.
Congrations - another little one to knit for!
So glad you're feeling better! *Can't wait* to have the final word on whether the knitting will be pink or blue! ;) Congrats, again.
Congratulations! The boys will love having a little sister(or brother). Back to baby knits, eh?
Whoa! Congratulations!!! I can't wait to read about the boys' reactions.
congratulations! I am so happy for you that is all you here everywhere that someone is pregnant. I wish you the very best and I hope you have a little girl this time. And I hope we get to see lots of pictures like we do of the boys.
Congratulations!! What exciting news!!
Congratulations, Alison! I'm so happy for you.
Whooo! That's totally awesome!
Congratulations! I'm so happy for you and your family. Better get started knitting some baby stuff!
Creeping out of lurkdom to add my congratulations! My twins are 3 and I'm still too terrified to think about another. Maybe I'll feel differently in a couple of years. ;)
Congratulations and best wishes for you and your new little one.

I wish you a girl, but especially a healthy baby (no matter what the gender is)
Now THAT is the best secret design project I've seen for ages. Can't wait to see heaps of cute, little baby knitting on the blue blog :)
Good luck!
Congratulations!!! I do hope you get a little girl, but then you could end up like me with three boys...
Congratulations! Three kids are fun.
Congratulations! Hope you start feeling better soon--I, too, had very low energy until about 15 weeks w/ each of my pregnancies. Ugh!
congratulations! :)
i'm so happy for you.
Congratulations on the new edition to the family, the boys must be excited to be big brothers.
Wow! Congratulations! That baby is very lucky to have such great big brothers!
Wow!! Congratulations!! I can't believe you kept it a secret for so long! But you dropped enough hints, didn't you? ;-)
Congratulations, that is awesome! Hope you get to feeling better soon.
Oh yay! How fun. Just like I did, once I had the boy in in Kindergarten, it was time to make another kid... ;)
how fun, fun, fun! Congrats.
Oh, wow. Congratulations! What a project--I can only imagine how beautiful the FO will be. :)
Oh, Alison! What wonderful, happy news. Congratulations!
That is SO fantastic!! Just think. Now you get to start designing for another one!! Wooohooo ... congrats to the whole family.
OMFG! I thought something serious was up! I am glad it is good news. Good luck on the barfing thing...I barfed all the time, both times. I hate barfing. And it seemed to get worse later in the day--you know, the opposite of morning sickness. Afternoon and evening sickness.
Rest if you can! take drugs if they help! we are cheering for you!
Omigosh, congrats!! How exciting!!!
holy cow! congratulations!
Just some more congrats! ;-)
Congratulations! Nice timing; just as you get the other two off to school. I imagine you're planning the blankie all ready. :-)
Congrats! Um, are you quite sure there's only one in there...?
Another delurk just to chime in :-) Wow! Congratulations! Take care.
Congratulations - that IS a big project.

I can see that your inbox has been swamped already ... but just have to say "Congratulations!" Would it be a girl?
Congratulations!!! I am so excited for you. Do the boys know and what do they think about it? Good luck!!
hi there,
also delurking to say congratulations! best wishes for a wonderful healthy pregnancy and delightful new addition to your family.
Congratulations from Germany!
Since it can't be said enough, Congratulations!! Your boys are going to make the best big brothers. Lot's of good healthy vibes are being sent your way.
Congratulations! Hope the sickness doesn't last too much longer. Sweet tea and dry crackers always worked for me.
Congrats, Alison!! How exciting!!
Congratulations! A girl would open up more knitting possibilities--but the idea of pictures of three boys on the blog sounds awfully cute. Sounds like this is good news for your blog either way! (And even better news for you and your family!)
Goodness, you excited a lot of people. And me, too. Congratulations. And if it is a boy -- you could do worse. I'm off to the wedding of my third nephew next week. Stay well and it'll be a win-win. A "professional" aunt who thinks it's the best role in the world
Congratulations! You must be due a few weeks before me!
Happy News! Congrats to you all.
Blessings to you, Alison! May the pregnancy be easy for mother and child!!
Congrats from the other side of the Atlantic ocean.
Congratulations! Great and wonderful news.
Great news, congratulations!
wow, congratulations! can't wait for many more baby posts to come, now!
Woo hoo! That is so exciting!!! We've had a few "scares" lately and I have been so disappointed when it didn't turn out I was preggers - it must be time to try. I am so happy for you - this is going to be fun.
OMG! Congrats! Just this morning I was agonizing about how much I would love another one, but do I really want to go through all that again (believe me, I totally have sympathy for morning sickness). It seems that everyone is turning up pregnant, and it is so making me ache for another (as is my 5 year old starting kindergarten and my "baby" turning two next month.) Maybe I will have to settle for watching everyone else in blogland.
Congrats! You all must be excited! I had my second when the first was in Kindergarten and it works out so great. I hope everything continues to be wonderful!
I am delurking to say *CONGRATULATIONS*
I'm coming out of lurkdom to say, Congratulations!!! May you have an easy time of it from here on, and may this baby love building as much as the big brothers! (And may this epidemic be brought under control before it reaches my neck of the woods)
Congrats!!! Do you have heartburn all the time? I did with my daughter (morning sickness + heartburn = 0 fun). My theory is a girl can't resist the urge to redecorate.
How exciting! Congratulations! Won't the boys be excited too. I hope the force stays strong. I have a personal girl bias and my oldest is expecting and I'm hoping real hard. Best wishes for the whole family.
Congratulations! Oh wow! What news..
I'm usually just a lurker, but had to speak up for once to say CONGRATULATIONS!!! How exciting!
How exciting! Lots o' baby knitting about to begin! Congratulations. =)
Fabulous ! Congratulations !
Congrats! What great news. You'll have to run out and get the new Debbie Bliss baby book. It has the best baby socks in it.
Congratulations to all of you! The boys will make the best big brothers ever! I am hoping a girl and will keep my fingers crossed!
Congratulations! The baby looks beautiful. Now, go get some rest and knit! :)
Yay! What fun. And I know the boys will be terrific big brothers!

Congratulations! Boy, girl, whatever, it'll be just what's right for your family.
I know you don't know me as I've only sent you a post a few times, but I couldn't resist sending you a great big CONGRATS!!! I'm willing to bet morning sickness and Germany heat were a deadly combo! SO happy for you!
Congratualtions! I have twin daughters, and when I was pregnant, when they were four, I longed for a boy. Well, we got our third girl and she is the most precious of all. This baby will be so easy for you as a singleton, you won't know what to do! My nurse in the hospital said I would meet mamas my whole life with three boys, that's how God evens things out. I wish you health and joy.
Congratulations! I hope that the boys are prepared to share their lego!
Congratulations to you & your family!
Congratulations, wishing you the best of luck and health.
Carly

Awwww.....big congratulations! Growing a baby is a full time job, especially when there are already older ones running around. Take it as easy as you can.

Best Wishes coming your way.
Congrats to you and yours!
Congratulations! What wonderful news.
Congratulations Alison and family!!! So IF it is a girl...will this become the "Pink and Blue Blog"? I think I only see ONE baby in there. You must be slipping in "production" in more than one way. ;-)
Congratulations!!! Oh, and welcome to the club ;-)
Congratulations! I am SOOO thrilled for you! B and S are such adorable little pumpkins...I'd be tempted to have a dozen children if I were you!
Herzlichen Glueckwunsch und alles Gute fuer Deine Schwangerschaft! I hope you have a beautiful time and enjoy the "lighter load"...
Congratulations!
A new baby to knit for, I'm jealous!
(Ok, my baby is only 3 months, but it seems that knitting is much easier before the little one is born...)

Now you'll probably get loads of baby knits from all over the world ;-)
That's wonderful news. Hope everything goes smoothly. I'm sure that your boys will be wonderful big brothers to their little sib.

Keep the hugs/kisses sweater for the baby--if you're that sick, it's a girl.

Must resist the baby fever ... must.resist. LOL
Hooray!! Does this mean the next Sockapalooza will be baby booties?!? (I would be ALL for that, just so ya know!) Maybe the baby vibe will rub off, the husband and I find out if we are on the 13th... it might be too early(only off the birth control 2 months), but much happiness for all the others out there!!! Congrats Alison! Here's to a healthy and happy baby in a couple short months!
Congrats! I've never known a mom of twins to be done at one pregnancy -- but beware, on my second I was convinced it was a girl, so much so that I was really confused when the technician told me we would have hand me downs .. but it is a girl year, defintely!
Oh, how exciting! Congratulations! I'm looking forward to seeing some baby items:-) Umm, some pink stuff for a change?;-)

Mel in Melbourne Australia
You've got a lot of comments so I'll be brief--congrats!!!
Congratulations Alison. Must be the year for new babies being made. Lisa G just had twin boys, Anny Purl is pregnant again, Emma from The Wool Shack is pregnant with her 3rd baby, and Kerrie and now you. How exciting! I just love babies and do not intend to have anymore even though I always wanted 3 kids, just not meant to be so 2 is fine. I am sure the boys will be so excited when the baby arrives, and make sure you take it easy. Always more tiring chasing after little children when another is on the way.
Congratulations!!!! How very exciting. Let's hope it's a girl. She has to bug those two boys. :)
Congratulations!!! Okay, not to encourage you, but I'm getting the 'girl' vibe too. She'll make gentlemen out of the boys - or they'll make her a tough cookie; win/win either way!
And it is everywhere - Anny http://annypurls.blogspot.com/ is expecting too!! There's gonna be a rush on baby yarn on a global scale.
Blessing on your whole family.
Wahoo! Babies rock! I'm sending easy pregnancy vibes your way...these are non-twinning vibes, btw.

Congrats to you and your family! Wishing you a wonderful and easy next few months - not to mention a quick and painless delivery!
I am now 32 weeks pregnant with my first. I had terrible sickness in the beginning which forced me to stop knitting (it made me soooo sea sick to knit/crochet) and I am since feeling better but haven't been able to pick it back up.... AHHHH
So I wish you many many weeks of peaceful knitting!
Good luck - from one Alison to another...
