the blue blog archives: hp hat

Well, I'm a week behind in my goal to knit a hat a week for Caps 4 Kids during my beginning knitting class. I'm just finishing the first hat - a striped Harry Potter hat. This Patons Classic Merino fcomes in great Gryffindor colors, don't you think?

I'm tempted to knit the second hat as a long striped stocking cap with a pom-pom on top. This is too fun!

I love all your HP-themed knitting! It's nice to know there are others out there as obsessed as I am. Also, your short-row tutorial got me knitting (read: addicted to) socks! I should get out my POA scarf and finish it...

The hat looks great! I love the hugs and kisses baby sweater. What an adorable pattern. I am waiting on pins and needles for the big news tomorrow. Hopefully baby isn't shy like my 1st born was ... kept his legs firmly crossed ... shy/stubborn ... whatever. LOL
