girl time

And the ultrasound says...

So glad I went back and made some decent twisted cord for those pink booties!

S was very excited to hear that he was right. And, as predicted, B switched and said he wanted a girl too.

Just had to scream my congratulations with everyone else! But...to this day I hate pink and purple and lace because my Mom dressed me in it all those 'tender young years'! Baby will dearly love anything soft and warm that smells like Mom!

Congratulations! I have an older brother, he was my best friend growing up. Your little girl is lucky to have two of them to guide her, protect her, teach her -- and yes, torment her. :) Now his wife is due any day now, and we still don't know the gender, it's a very shy baby. I'm so excited about being an aunt!

Congratulations. I have two daughters and a son. Neither sex is better than the other or easier to raise, but it IS really nice to have the opportunity to experience raising both. My daughter is due to have her ultrasound in two weeks. We're both knitters so it will be exciting to know "pink or blue".
