You know where it says Alison due March 2006? Did you really mean 2007? :-)
I'll add this to the Knit-Alongs site!
I want to join! Can I? My baby was born in Oct. 2005.
No, I'm definitely not sporting a baby bumper, but may I suggest you also knit a lovely mommie sweater for yourself? Peapod's Mommy Kate Gilbert designed one and wore it in IK.
Thankfully, I'm not sporting a baby bump, but I have a suggestion for a pattern... the bunny buddy from Lion Brand's patterns, done in GGH's Goa... It's SUPER fast, soft, and machine washable. Baby's first lovie. Congrats on the girly news! Happy Knitting!!
Not expecting myself, but busily knitting for friends' new babies, so I'd love to join.
Pattern suggestion: the Babies & Bears Sweater from Cottage Creations. It's a lovely little sweater, and very quick to knit.
Not expecting, either, but it seems like everyone I know is having a baby, LOL. I have a standard cardi that I knit, but with this much to do, I'm looking forward to getting a bit more adventurous as I see what everyone else is working on!
Dear Alison:
I am not expecting either but my daughter is due on March 7,2006. I would love to join. Can we also crochet I have some really nice patterns

I want to join!
My sister-in-law is having twin boys in November/December this year, so I'm knitting up a storm!
Also, congrats on the girl! I love how she's waving to us in the picture!
My hubby says, you had them in the right order (like us.) Have the boys first and the girl last, that way the boys help keep the "boyfriends" in line later on down the road. :)
Not expecting either but I have a ton of baby knitting to do, so I'd like to join in. Congrats on your baby girl, S and B are going to make great big brothers.
Well, I'm definitely expecting and I'd like to join!
My due date is february 24.
And a happy German-American Day to you and your family ;o)
Congratulations on the girl!! I have enjoyed watching your boys grow. I myself am a mother of twin boys (now 33) and always wanted a girl. I got divorced when my boys were 2 and never remarried. I wish I had had the courage to have tried for the girl anyway.
I wish I could join the bump group, but at 57 I don't think I will have a bump any time soon and my boys are allergic to matrimony (think they got it from me.)
No bumps here, unfortunately, but I just wanted to say "PROPS FOR A GREAT TITLE!" Knitty Bloggy Baby Bumpers. That's absolutely fabulous!
Hi! I'm unlurking to say congratulations on the baby girl! I'm not expecting, but I know several that are. I'd like to join the group as I try to knit some baby gifts :) (I'm a rather new knitter and will appreciate any pointers or advice I get!)
I'll join! I just tested THIS MORNING. I'm due June 14th. I can't post on my blog about it for a while - as we aren't telling anyone until I'm at 12 weeks - but this will give me an outlet!
I'm not pregnant, but love to knit baby items. I knit mostly preemie items, but full term as well:D I LOVE your blog title for this fun knit along. Just makes you want to smile:D
Yeppers! Not sure of the exact due date yet, find that out on the 17th, but it's definitely May. The 3rd or 23rd we think so far. So please sign me up!! :)
Did I send you the booty pattern I have that's super cute?
What a great idea! Another awesome book is Special Knits, by Debbie Bliss. I really love this book even if their aren't any babies on the horizon for me. You just can't go wrong with Debbie Bliss.
I'd like to join the "For Baby" list. My sister's due in Nov, and I have 2 friends due in Dec and April. This KAL will help me get their gifts done before the babies are born!
Please add me to the KAL. I'm a new mom and have lots of friends with babies on the way this Dec.!
Alison,
This KAL is right up my ally. My husband and I are trying to conceive our first child. I picked up a project last week to start and it would be great to use it as part of the KAL for my hopefully soon to be baby.
Laura
Oh, can I? Can I? I'm not expecting (though DH and I might start TTC early next year . . .), but I have a 6 1/2 MO DS and my brother and SIL are expecting their first in the spring, so most of my knitting is baby knitting right now anyway. I love it that way!
