Obviously my web host has been having some internet problems over the last several days. Sometimes I'm here, sometimes I'm not. For those of you who CAN see me now, here's an update on the baby bump. And just for fun, a direct comparison to the baby bump at week 22 six years ago when I was pregnant with the twins.
No wonder I feel like I'm not looking pregnant yet - I'm definitely smaller than last time. And can you believe it, I had just started knitting!

Amazing the difference when you're just growing 1 instead of 2! :)
And that's a heck of a sweater to live so long, mine seem to barely make it a few years! Much less get stretched by twins growing and live to see another day :)
Wow- what a difference. The 3rd trimester comparisons will be remarkable too, I bet! I hope you're able to get some rest with the twins more independent these days!
wow! you look taller somehow. :)
Yeah, Shireen, it could be the wider=shorter thing. Or, more likely, the fact that we had the picture hung higher in the old place.
(Just an FYI that your web host's ISP is apparently run by untrained, decerebrate, narcoleptic monkeys. That is all.)
Knew it had to be something like that, Jason. ;0)
I love seeing the differences!
You carry your babies so beautifully!
I am amazed that you have only been knitting for five years!
Brilliant!
Wow! There's a big big difference and you're already past the half way point Mommy!! Little Miss Blueblog will be here before we know it! hehe Isn't that exciting?! Hmm... she'll probably arrive during or just at the end of S'pooza IV! Hmm! Did you have a c-section with the boys?
In this case, bigger is definitely not better :-) You look adorable with your little pregnant belly!
What a big difference. We twins do take up alot of room. I have a twin brother.
*Delurking*
Aw, aren't you cute! I can't believe you are past halfway already.
I love the comparison. Good luck with your host -- we're having lots of plain old access problems right now, so frustrating!
WOW! Though some obviously is because you were carring twins, I wonder if some is because it was your first pregnacy. My OBGYN told me that I was allowed to gain more weight with my first pregnacy, but if I did it with future ones, I was in trouble. Looking at you makes me miss being pregnant. Problem is, we don't plan on having more :(
Awwww. What a sweet baby bump!
My sister-in-law is pregnant with her second, and she's due about the same time as you. Her bump looks about the same.
That is so adorable. It *is* hard to believe how the time has flown--I've been knitting two years but it feels a lot longer, too!
Aww! Cute!
And my e-mails to you keep bouncing back!
You look fabulous, momma! Crazy how different your belly looks with just one little bean in there.
How cool you've got photos! And by the way, I like your hair now better. ;)
You look great!
Whoa! You can definitely see a difference there.
That is great to have both to compare with.
You have made some major knitting strides in 6 years! Impressive!!
Definitely smaller belly this time, and it is the second time! Wow. Of course it has to do with the fact that it is only one this time. But it must be great to have the easier pregnancy (if it is so) the second time. For me it was the opposite. First time a baby girl 3.2 kg next time a baby boy 5.2 kg. Buh. But it all does not matter now that they are here. My lovely sunshines! Good knitting!
oh my gosh! that is too cute. now i can see for real the difference between carrying two to just a single. thanks for sharing that and I love the rib sweater you are wearing.
Hey, we should swap "twin bellies at term" photos!
Cute photo comparison.
