more candy, please

Two candy fronts!

We actually live over what was once a candy store. I think that's kinda cool. Wish there were places like that still around nowadays. Now we're left to satify our nostalgia with sock yarn and online searches.

Yummmm....looks delicious so far. Bet it'll look even sweeter with a little girlie inside!

I wouldn't have thought of it, but you're right, those colors do remind me of those neapolitan coconut things. Cute!

SIGH, only candy stores I know of are big chains. I honestly don't know of any mom and pop ones. Even the mom and pop coffee shop that SOLD candy is gone.

What excellent matching!!

Beautiful colors. Wee one is going to have quite the wardrobe.

That really does look like Neopolitan ice cream (or candy). Nice job on getting the fronts to match.

Aww SWEET! At least you can still FIND that kind of candy! The sweater is coming out so darling.

That sweater does look so yummy! Just like the candies.

We used to have a candy store around the corner from where I took dance classes when I was little. I used to love getting to class early and going there to buy penny candy. It's closed as well. How sad.

That reminds me more of those long flat strips of pink/white/brown.. I know I've seen them recently, I can't recall where to get them though.

It's adorable and the sides match so well. :)

What a great source of inspiration! I will have to pay more attention to the samll, everyday things for interesting color combos.

I love the start of that sweater. I'm not loving sock knitting lately, but I'm going to hang on to some of that stash for future baby sweaters!

Oh those were my favorite candies when I was little. What Trekking number is that-I must have some of that goodness. Thanks!!!

I remember when those candies were called Neopoliton's and they had a carmel stripe too! They were my all time fav and I would eat them one layer at a time. Now they're just not the same.

Can't wait to see your wee girl wearing that!

Yummy! That is, the cardi looks great. And I wish I could find that candy.
