blushing baby bell bottoms

So just what was I knitting while I was in labor? More baby pants, of course! After finishing the drawstring pants from LMKG, I decided this time to just eyeball some babyGap pants and make up a little pattern for pretty pants for wee one. This is how far I got.

These still need their waistband, but all in all, they'll only take two balls of Knitpicks Shine and are going to be so freaking sweet I can hardly stand it!

Kudos to you for getting the wee one started on a long life of not only knitted goodness but *bell bottoms*! You rock!

Oooh oooh oooh! If only there were more knitting time in a day, (and a Knitpicks store to walk to for instant gratification!).

KP Shine is my new favorite yarn. It's washable, soft, and you can't beat the price!

Great job! And impressive given that you were waiting for a delivery.

Also, love the yarn from yesterday!

Knitting while in labor, that is one I still can't get my head around. I was stomping around ticked off that I wasn't progressing. Those bell bottoms do make me smile.

How did knitting while in labor work for you? I was considering doing that when I went in labor, for a distraction. I would love to know how it worked for you. Thanks in advance.
