where are they now: wee baby knits

Wee one gets her blankie.

Wee one wears her LMKG hat.

Wee one wears cutie patootie tiny little booties from fellow Knitsmith, Dana.

Oh my! She is lovely and looks so quiet :o)

Are you resting?

Or busy trying on all of wee ones outfits?

Awww... how precious! Perfect fit, I'd say! :)

Posted by: Saffron at March 14, 2007 9:32 AM

Alison, you create some beautiful handknit items, but I have to say... I think your kids are the most beautiful creations! Such a lovely little girl... congrats on the new arrival!

Posted by: Kate at March 14, 2007 9:36 AM

She's beautiful (the knits are too but I'm too busy admiring her to admire the knitting). She looks a lot like her brothers.

Posted by: Renee at March 14, 2007 9:45 AM

She is just so ADORABLE!!!

Posted by: knittingnurse at March 14, 2007 9:46 AM

What a lucky baby to have such fabulous handknits.

Posted by: Carole at March 14, 2007 9:48 AM

Aww, she is adorable! I'm sure she'll be nice and cozy in the handknits!

Posted by: Elinor at March 14, 2007 9:48 AM

There is nothing lovelier than a baby, wrapped in knittied love.

Posted by: elan at March 14, 2007 9:54 AM

She is beautiful and so are the knits.

This is just the inspiration I need to finish the blanket for a friend's baby that I have stalled on (it doesn't help that I have an additional identical blanket to knit as she is expecting twins).

More inspiring pics of baby with knits please!

The knits are precious, but OH that BABY! She's a doll. *sigh* My uterus is quivering.

Enjoy your babymoon!

Posted by: earthchick at March 14, 2007 10:22 AM

Ha, I have to echo Kate and others--when I saw her for the first time I thought "now does this fall into 'Finished Objects' or 'Work in Progress'--your kids are definitely your best work!

Simply precious. Also, as a very avid reader of your blog, I wanted to say that I am SO excited that you are still posting amidst the chaos have having a newborn (and two other kids!). It really is a treat to read every morning and I'm so glad it's continuing!

Posted by: Leslie at March 14, 2007 10:36 AM

The knits are cute, but OH, THAT NOSE! She seems to have the attitude of Whistler's portrait of Mme. Pierre Gautreau

I cannot believe I missed L's birth! I suck. I've been so busy that I haven't made my normal rounds. I am so excited for you, and for the entire crew at Chez Alison. She is beautiful and I know the boys are going to have a blast with her!
