baby geek

The geek spiral sweater fits! And look at how adorable the baby geek himself looks in it.

Given the intelligence of his MIT-grad parents, this kid's going to be a genius. Which is why this picture is all the more funny!

I'm sure he's contemplating the conservation of matter or something wicked smart like that.

Ha ha ha... yeah, my mom has a photo of me with my head in a pot as a baby and then one of me as valedictorian on my class... she was amazed that one led to the other. :) Great baby sweater!!! Was this a pattern you designed?? or is the pattern available?

Yeah baby geek!

Very cute! I work at MIT and can confirm that some of the professors wear those same expressions!

LOL...a Geek in the making. I still don't know why they call it a Geek sweater, I think it's just cool...maybe I'm a Geek also.

Maybe he's contemplating where he left his nookie and when the next diaper change will occur.... ;-)

Great job on the sweater. Oh my gosh what a cute kid! He really does look like a future MIT grad. It's all in the eyes.

It looks great on him! Espeically with that expression, haha. That kid's got genius written all over him. ;P

Love the baby geek!

That sweater looks wonderful on him! Do you think he might be a little dizzy from trying to contemplate his navel? Too cute!

Very cute - he has the serious expression of a gifted child. We have a picture of my older grandson with the almost identical expression (his mom was id'd as gifted at about his age & I suspect he is too - for one thing he has been drawing the most amazing detailed pictures of tank engines & has taught himself to read) but he has strained carrots all over his face & in his hair. It is just the funniest picture - this very bright, serious looking baby acting as if everyone wears their food! The sweater looks great on him too!

Oh man, it's REALLY cute on him!

one of THE coolest sweaters i've ever seen AND one of THE cutest kids too!

Sacha, I too was concerned about how best to seam up the sweater. I usually use mattress stitch for all my seaming, but with this sweater with the garter stitch in different directions on the front, I knew I had to do something else. So I used backstitch to seam the shoulders and the sides. I never usually use backstitch, but it ended up working real well for this sweater.

Holy smokes! It's so cute ON! I love when I get pictures of the gifted bambino wearing their hand-knits.
