so many socks to see

We're up to 210 finished sockapalooza knitters! Wow! That's 21% of all 1,000 sockers (with only 3 weeks to go!). Let's try and have a whole bunch of finishers this week, okay? Remember when you are finished to update the database and enter a URL to the specific post or image of your finished socks (don't just enter your main blog addy), so folks can go directly from the big list to your finished socks.
210 finished sockers is still a lot of socks to see though. Get on over to the big list and start clicking on the "random finished socker" link. You are going to see some beauties! In just a couple minutes of clicking, I found these lovelies: pink beaded socks by Beate; pretty lace cuff socks from Rachel M; and perfect pomatomi fabulous Flickers from Ebony.
Clicking back to my own socks, the second pair is slowly coming along, with one repeat finished on sock number two.

And now back to sock surfing and general monkeying around....

Woo ... thanks for the reminder! I've finished a while back ... just sent the link to the database. I've also started the second of my Waving Lace ... love this pattern.
Monkey? Did somebody say monkey?
I just loooooove all the socks. It's the best eye candy ever.
I am almost to the heel of my second sock. I should be finished by the end of the week. :)
Maybe I missed it somewhere, but what is the pattern for those pink beauties you've been working on?
Thanks for the reminder. Hoping to finish mine this week!
Mel, I'm making waving lace socks in Louet Fingering Weight merino. You can find all the details in the archive page.
Eeek! The pressure is on!
I just cast on some Louet merino - I love it. The finished sock surfing is such fun, but oh so distracting!
those aren't pomatomous socks in the post you linked to... I wonder what they are, I love them!
You're right, RJ. The blue and the horizontal angle got Pomatomus stuck in my head, but I do believe that they are Flicker socks also from Cookie A. Doh!
I spend a few minutes nearly every day just looking at the different socks (finished and unfinished) floating around the Pligg. It is nice seeing so many different socks, and how the same pattern can be transformed by a different yarn. It's wonderful!
I missed the sign up for this Sockapalooza but I'm loving it anyway because of all the wonderful patterns I'm seeing and great yarn to drool over. I've planned the next fifteen pair of socks, after I finish my first Monkeys. What a great pattern. Now I have to cast on a House Hat to have ready to work on at the bookstore while I wait on Friday night for my copy of Harry Potter.
I expect to finish and mail next week (my pal is overseas). Is there any chance for Sockapalooza 4 sock labels? The last ones were so well received!
