I hope you all are having fun watching for the socks you made to appear on your pal's blog or the pligg. We are now at 72% finished knitting (you gals and guys are awesome!), 60% sent, and 35% received. How 'bout you all share your sock pal stories (did you know your sock pal? was it a huge suprise? did you get just the socks you've always dreamed of getting?) to help encourage those still knitting to finish up!
And remember to update the database when you finish and send your pal's socks and then again when you receive the ones knit for you. I can't update it for you, you've got to go to the database and check things off so I know you're done. Thanks!!

sockapalooza 4
I was absolutely shocked that my pal made my socks from her own hand dyed, hand spun yarn. I am going to treasure those socks!
It must be the day to receive socks, as I just got in to find mine had arrived and earlier on today I found out my pal received hers. This has been my first sockapalooza and its been great fun. Thanks for putting in the hardwork!
I can't wait till I get good enough to knit socks and can join! ^.^
next year for sure!
btw, it was your book Charmed Knits that got me to learn how to knit! I really wanted a Hogwarts Scarf, so I bought the book the same time as the 7th book, and the next day bought a teaching kit at Wal-mart.
I am now working on a Ravenclaw scarf for my boyfriend (I decided to make my friends scarves first), and a pair of mittens for myself. I already finished the Animal Crackers hat, but I got all mixed up with the gauge and its now sitting on my stuffed bear instead of me, but at least I have something finished.
Anyhow, just wanted to say thank you!
When cruising the paloozers I noticed that Alice has been quite ill and I wonder if she was able to finish her socks. Her mom had to blog for her.

This was definitely more fun than the last round for me (I think I stressed out too much last time-totally my fault). I'm so glad that you host this exchange!
I should have said on my blog, they arrived almost a week ago but to an address I only visit once a week. I was also a lazy blogger! Just didn't want you to loose faith in the mail system =)
Do I need to notify you or anyone if I'm having trouble getting my package delivered? My box shipped on the 7th, but the USPS has lost - I'm sorry, temporarily misplaced - it. I've informed my pal and am working with the USPS on tracking it down, but I'm kind of worried that my pal may think I've flaked on her and made up the USPS thing to get away with it and will report me or request a sock saviour - but I promise I'm working on getting her socks pointed back in her direction!
I sent my socks to Europe and I haven't heard from my pal, so I am assuming they haven't arrived yet, but hopefully they will arrive soon. I was shocked to find out that my sockpal was someone who's blog I'd been reading for months (http://friender.blogspot.com/)! She helped me track down a pattern I was looking for and we'd been chatting back and forth. I saw her making the socks from the beginning and *loved* them but never thought they'd be for me! I was so surprised and thrilled when I opened the package!
Haven't received any notice nor socks - at what point should I start to wonder - could you tell me at least what state or country my pal lives in?
I also have not heard from my upstream pal, and like Betty, was wondering when I should worry. I'm happy to report that my downstream pal recieved her socks and says she loves them! Thank you so much Alison for organizing this swap!
I've received some wonderful socks from my pal, but the pal I knit for hasn't acknowledged receiving her socks. I'm starting to worry. I mailed them on the first official mail day and she lives in Washington - I'm in NC. Shouldn't she have received them by now?
whoops! I didn't realize there was a task to update socks sent and received--done! :) My socks went on quite a journey...Dani's honeymoon trip and the socks got to go to Scotland, hang out with Highland cows and even see Stonehenge...!
I received mine and they are lovely (check my blog for photos). I sent mine late, and I don't think my pal has received them yet. Another successful swap... Yay, Alison!
Those are great! I can't wait until my socks get where they are going, but I was warned it's a long ship up to the great white north. I can't wait to hear what she thinks. I just LOVE my own socks, they are so perfect for me!
Cirilia was too excited! Monday morning she came running to me saying "You will NOT believe who made my socks!" You made her day! :)
I'm starting to worry too (and feel a bit annoyed, if I'm honest). I sent my pal's socks off about 2 weeks ago to the states from the UK, they should have got there by now but I haven't heard a thing. She hasn't responded to several e-mails from me and hasn't updated her blog since April. Also, according to the database, she hasn't finished *her* pal's socks.
On the plus side, my pal is finishing my socks as we speak so I've got something to look forward to pretty soon.
