The fabric bowl is really interesting! And I love the color you chose for the Hemlock Ring. Did you get it to block the way you wanted to? I blocked mine fairly severely and it still rippled at the edge when it was unpinned, and I used wool. Although the idea of silk is now swimming around my brain...
Wow! I saw one of these a few years ago at a quilt shop in Quincy and I loved it! I'd totally forgotten about them, but seeing yours... and the instructions online...
It was nice meeting you yesterday at the quilt shop. I hope I run into you and wee one again! : )
It's nice to see Wee One giving you a hand.
Thank you so much Alison! Its already filled with yarn on our bookshelf :) Looks like the blanket blocked up wonderfully?!
I love the blanket and bowl! I've never seen fabric bowls like that. It looks really neat!
Love that bowl!!! And isn't it sweet of Wee One to be so helpful!
That bowl is amazing. I might have to try it out myself!
Did you just follow the Hemlock pattern with smaller yarn on smaller needles to make it baby size?? Love it!
Yes, Megan, exactly. You can check my older posts on this by checking out the archives for this project.
Leap year birthday...how cool...or not...she should have a HUGE party for the past 4 years.
LOVE the bowl.
