train to brazil
I've knit socks on the German train and now on Amtrak.

Regia Canadian Colors, my constant companion
The woman sitting across from me was also knitting and so were two very classy and sophisticated women in my subway car later. Wow, knitting sure is hip in New York City!
Well, I'm off to shop and knit in the big apple. If you see someone knitting Brazil socks in the local yarn stores today, that'll be me!

Those are kinda Amtrak-y colors too. I have seen many women (including myself--duh) knitting on Amtrak, and have thought about taking pictures for a post. But, I figured that would be a sure-fire way to get myself tossed from the train...
Have fun. It's going to be a fabby weekend.
Ahhh-- so jealous of the NYC yarn shopping! Do you have any suitcase space left?
Great colors! Have fun shopping in NYC.
Hmm, maybe they were knit bloggers and we'll read about this from the other side of the aisle...
Can you feel the envy? Both about the shopping in NYC, and the lovely socks!
Enjoy!!
What a beautiful sock!! Have a great time in the Big City!
