Nice! I love all the colors.
It's just "the end of the pregnancy-gotta get everything done-get the nest in order thing! When I was 8.5 months pregnant with our third child(also a pink thing! with two brothers) I wallpapered the nursery-on a ladder-all by myself! It's this super-mama-nest thing!
I guess that means they didn't want the fuscia! I like the olivey one, but they're all nice.
Amazing, isn't it? Holed up on the couch myself while mending my paw, I've managed to do 2 pairs of socks, a pair of gloves, and I'm half-way through a scarf and a sweater. Oh, to be independently wealthy...
Don't feel guilty!! Enjoy it now while you can b/c you'll be super duper busy once the little one comes. I'm wondering...how in the world are you going to be able to organize sockapalooza4?! I am totally IN this time around by the way... :)
I can't WAIT to see what this project is!!
Sure sounds like nesting behavior to me - you're due pretty soon, aren't you? My daughter was scheduled for a C-section on Fri, Nov 17th, one week before her due date. When she started washing the 3-6 month size baby clothes & rearranging baby's room & doing load after load of wash the Saturday before, I began to think she might not make it to the 17th. Her bag of waters (isn't that an ugly term?) broke on Sunday, Nov 12th in Ikea while she was looking for a dresser for the baby (she already had one but wasn't crazy about it). The sales ladies at Ikea were so excited & they were delighted when she took baby to see them a few weeks after birth.
You are my knitting idol right now! I'm still amazed at the amount of knitting you've gotten done over the past couple of weeks.
Just wish I had that kind on energy now! I'm 19 weeks, and I don't think I'll be able to be a potter much longer, but it takes so much effort to go to the studio. All I want to do is knit.
Looks like a difficult choice -- those are all lovely colors!
I know you're very skilled at installing zippers, though I thought I'd share this tutorial with you, anyway. It comes from a sewer's perspective, and I'm generally happy with the results.....

Anyway, I just now (finally) reading the first Harry Potter book, so it is exciting to read about all of the names you've discussed in your blog (Weasleys, for example). I am so looking forward to the release of your book!
*g* Other people said what I was going to - sounds like nesting to me :)
Those zips are such nice colours :)
I'm knitting a very gritty (tweedy)grey colour at the mo so dying for some colour. But I'm off to the mountains this weekend - and even though it is summer and _hot_ (for us :) ) it makes me want to knit hats so I'll dig out something bright for that to make me feel better.
Please remind us when you are due... me thinks wee one is hanging in for the appropriate womb warming...
well that all depends on the color of your sweater :-)
