mmmmm... buttery

I've got some new baby pants underway! These are in a super yummy buttery color of Knitpicks Shine. They're different from the bell bottoms (I spy ruffles!) and you'll be able to get the pattern at magknits this summer!

Love that color! Every time I read your blog, I have to restrain myself from going right over to KnitPicks and stocking up!

Alison, I wanted to say how awesome your short row heel tutorial is.. I just did one (I usually always do the afterthought or heel flap style) and I LOVE how easy you made it!! My Monkey's are zooming along!

(we haven't seen the boys in ages, how are they doing :)

Lucky me, I have not only my own little kiddo but a few others to knit for.....I'll be stocking up on some Shine the next time I order. :)

So cute!! Love the color.

Was at my LYS yesterday and saw copies of Charmed Knits!! Haven't made anything in it yet but have my eye on some stripey socks....that is, once I finish my sockapalooza socks. One down, one to go!

Congrats on publishing again! Can't wait to see the new design.

Excellent! I am knitting for upcoming babies and I think the pants are wonderful.

You're being such a tease.... So we have a MagKnits pattern to look forward to?

I love that buttery yellow color--one of my favorites. I finally had to throw out a wonderful LL Beane tee I had in that color--too many grease stains that just weren't going to come out no matter what I did.

Congratulations on having your pattern published! It's so cute!

Yay for baby pants, we need way more free patterns. I just wish they went up to a bigger size.

Wonderful! I was thinking of sketching some for my little girl for the winter but you beat me to it. I will knit your version and I will post outcome when they are done so you can see what they look like. Fantastic, and cant wait to see the 'utterly butterly' ones!

very cool. do you think this butter also clogs the arteries ;-) LOL
I'll check it out when it comes out. Right now i'm still in the 1st tri mester and i'm soooooh fatigued, I just can't knit much. I'm hoping to get back my groove when I get to the 2nd trimester which is just a few weeks away.
