A Circle of Friends blanket (pattern from Last Minute Knitted Gifts) for Johanna's tadpole on the way. Dani and I picked out Manos cotton stria in great girl colors once we heard that Johanna was having a girl and packed up kits for each strip to be sent to all the knitters who wanted to join in. Over 15 knitters participated, and despite gauge differences, the blanket came out looking awesome! I loved this yarn and this pattern and would whole-heartedly recommend this project to any group wanting to knit a special gift for a friend.
