I so wanted to make this shrug/scarf from the cover of Scarf Style, but I wasn't sure how it'd look on me or how often I'd wear it. Luckily, it turns out that my mother's friend looks great in these sorts of fashion knits and she is an excellent knit-gift recipient (I made her the ruffles scarf for her birthday last year). I chose to make the scarf in Noro cash iroha, which feels incredible against the skin and has such a beautiful sheen. Really, the loveliest black I've ever seen. I didn't love using the 11" circular needles that the pattern called for, but the finished result is so neat!
