After knitting weasley sweaters for my boys last Christmas, I kept thinking how much I'd like to have a weasley sweater of my own. And the opening of the fourth movie seemed like reason enough to make one. I spent weeks trying to choose the right yarn and settled on Rowan's Felted Tweed in Ginger. I used the original Rowan pattern, with adaptations for set-in sleeves (from Ann Budd's Handy Book of Sweater Patterns) and for a hemmed edge and neck. The felted tweed is a wonderful yarn to work with and it's light but warm to wear. I wore my sweater to the movie on opening day!
