Another cotton skirt for wee one. This one is by the author of Barefoot Knits, but isn't in the book. (It's available for free on ravelry.com.) It's very similar to the three-tiered skirt in Barefoot Knits, but with four tiers and about a bazillion stitches in that last tier. Knitting was simple, but sooooo boring. I converted the pattern to knit in the round, added a picot to the bottom hem, and put elastic in the waist instead of doing a drawstring. Small changes, because the pattern is awesome! I used Rowan's handknit dk because my lys had a better color selection in it than in the cotton fleece the pattern called for. The skirt came out great and wee one loves it!
