As it starts to get chilly here in Boston, the moms at school start to ask what sort of funky little hats I'll be making for wee one this season. Up first was a baby-sized version of the Shedir hat from Knitty. The pattern is so amazing that it came out great, despite my having lost the ability to read complicated knitting charts. I used a leftover ball of Rowan Calmer for the hat, so it's just perfect for early Fall.
