Fellow Knitsmith, Thea decided to write up the instructions for a fabulous cardigan that she knit a while back and asked me to be one of her test knitters. I chose some Elsebeth Lavold silky wool for my version, a little thinner, but it gave the cardigan a snugger, more vintage feel, I think. I added the little cable detail (my favorite part of the sweater) to the collar, like Thea did on her first version. And I added buttons from Thea's own stash of vintage buttons. I love how it came out! You can buy the pattern from her blog.
