I was supposed to teach a fair-isle workshop at my lys, so I needed a little fair-isle project of my own to work on. I leafed through my pattern books and found this lovely hat in Small Sweaters: Colorful Knits for Kids. We were using worsted weight yarn in the class, so I left out several repeats to knit this hat, making the motifs larger and the knitting go faster! I really enjoyed doing the fair-isle again and the hat is adorable on my daughter.
