Annypurl's peace baby sweater has been a favorite of mine for a long time. My friend Dani noticed that the sweater was on my Ravelry queue and made wee one a wonderful version of the peace baby set in pink and green. When I heard that friends of ours were having a baby, I knew that this sweater set would be the perfect gift for them. I wanted to use the same colors as Dani had and found wonderful shades of pink in Rowan Pure Wool DK and green in Cascade 220 Superwash. For patterns, I actually used the general hat pattern from Itty-Bitty Hats book and the child's placket neck sweater from Last-Minute Knitted Gifts for the sweater. Sorry, Anny!
