An adorable smock dress for wee one! As soon as I spotted this dress in Sublime's "second little Sublime handknit book", I knew I had to make it for my little girl. (Pssst.... you can get the pattern for free here!) She looks good in this sort of shaped dress and I happened to have some cashsoft dk in my stash waiting to become something pretty for her. I shortened the bodice section by one inch and also knitted that section and the garter stitch edging on smaller needles to keep them from stretching. The pattern was simple and is very sweet.
