Another Halloween, another trio of handmade costumes! This year the boys said they wanted to be a shark and batman. We searched through patterns and settled on the now out-of-print McCalls 2205 (shark) and McCalls 3329 (superhero). The boys happily helped me choose fabrics at Jo-Ann's and put up with multiple fittings. They absolutely LOVED them come Halloween. These were definitely my most successful sewn costumes so far. For wee one I took a ton of orange tulle and made a fluffy pumpkin tutu. It was quick and simple to make. She was followed by choruses of "ooooohhh, cuuuuute" all night long!
